1.          Product – The result for a multiplication

2.          Quotient – The result of a division

3.          Sum – The result of an addition

4.          Difference – The result of a subtraction

5.          Fraction – A part of something, a piece

6.          Probability – The chance that something will happen

7.          Reducing – Lowering a fraction to its lowest common denominator

8.          Prime – A number that can only be divided by itself or the number one

9.          Factor – Separate into the smallest parts

10.     Decimal – Any number divided by 10 or a multiple of ten

11.     Remainder – The fraction remaining at the end of a division

12.     Result – Answer

13.     Estimate – make a close guess

14.     Test – An opportunity to show what you’ve learned

15.     Borrow – Take a one from the number to the left in subtraction

16.     Carry – Move a multiple of ten over the next column to the left in addition

17.     Proportion – Compare one fraction or part to another

18.     Dimension – A measurement

19.     Integer – A natural number, its negatives, and zero (-1, 0, +1)

20.     Natural – All positive whole numbers (1, 2, 3, …)

21.     Rational – All fractions and whole numbers (example: 8/1=8)

22.     Irrational – A decimal fraction that never ends (π=3.141592…)

23.     Graph – A drawing that shows number information, a grid

24.     Percent – any number divided by one hundred

25.     Equation – A statement with one side equal to the other (3+4=1+6)
