1.           Cramped – To have painful spasms of the muscles

My leg cramped up and I couldn’t run.

2.           Trousers – Pants, slacks

I ripped a big hole in my new trousers.

3.           Raw – Uncooked

Sushi is a food made from raw fish.

4.           Digested – Broken down, dissolved in the gut

Some things just cannot be digested.

5.           Accord – Agreement, peace

I think his parents are in accord with his decision.

6.           Prisms – Rainbow-like rays of light

The light hit the prisms and they gave off rainbow colors.

7.           Undulation – Waving slowly back and forth

The man was watching the undulation of the tall grass in the field.

8.           Building – Growing, constructing, enlarging

The clouds are building up in the south and it looks like rain.

9.           Etching – Scratching into a surface

The sand was rapidly etching the smooth surface of the stone.

10.       Blurring – To go out of focus, unclear

Her eyes were blurring and she couldn’t see to drive.

11.       Hurricane – A large storm in the Atlantic Ocean

That last hurricane did a lot of damage in Florida.

12.       Signs – Symbols, indicators, clues

There were no signs of a struggle.

13.       Cumulus – Fluffy white clouds

The cumulus clouds climbed high into the sky.

14.       Cream – The oily, thick part of milk that rises to the top

      We skimmed the cream off the milk and drank it.

15.       Cirrus – Thin, wispy, high clouds

A few thin cirrus clouds wisped across the deep blue sky.

16.       Unknotting – Untying, untangling, loosening

The line was so tangled that unknotting it looked impossible.

17.       Brisa – Breeze, light wind

There was no brisa so we couldn’t fly our kites.

18.       Treachery – To cheat or be dishonest with a friend

Her treachery was obvious to everyone.

19.       Diarrhea – Loose or watery stool

The small calf had diarrhea which they called the scours.

20.       Stool – Feces, dung, Manure, solid waste from an animal

I wouldn’t go into the monkey cage because there was stool everywhere.

21.       Excrement – Feces, dung, manure, solid waste from an animal

They gather the excrement and use it to fertilize their gardens.

22.       Humiliate – To embarrass publicly and harmfully

They only did it to humiliate her.

23.       Ptomaine – A sometimes deadly form of food poisoning

They opened a bulging can of green beans and got ptomaine poisoning.

24.       Calambre – Cramp, painful muscular spasm

He rubbed his left leg to ease a bad calambre.

25.      Vomit – To expel stomach contents from the mouth

The lady gave him a bag when he boarded the plane just  in case he had to vomit.
