Math Board for August 17th, 2006 (3rd day of instruction - 5th Grade)
Students must complete the multiplication tables but may simply copy
and then circle any or all remaining problems without penalty.
Each day a problem or process shown will be explained and demonstrated with the
expectation that these problems will no longer be circled. Students will then
be given additional board and individual instruction as needed.
The content of each problem type becomes more complex as progress is made.
The amount of daily copy work will expand to about six columns.
Each day's problem sets are keyed off of the times tables for that day. This permits
students with poor knowledge of the tables to practice them daily and to refer
to them in solving the problems.
The expectation is that by June 2007 the majority of students will accurately solve
a similar set of problems every day.

Student Math Paper Day 4 (Student may circle unfamiliar problems and not do them without penalty)
